Costa Rica Adventure
So, I would definitely recommend this trip (in fact I already have). The accomodations were comfortable and there was a good mix of sitting and walking with opportunities for more ... The weather was wonderful ... not too hot not too rainy. Our guide was very genuine and clearly loved his country and enjoyed teaching others as much as he could share. The local food was good (and to not have to worry about the water was a dream come true!). The included meals were great. I really enjoyed the volcano and the trip to the hot springs, I wished at the time I could have stayed longer, but looking back, it was just about the right amount of time to be in the springs. The trip on the river was fantastic despite the cloudy beginnings and the rainy return. I enjoyed the serenity I found at Belmar (in Monteverde) and the lodge was very comfortable, I spent some "me time" in the swinging chair, just soaking it all in. Even the bumpy ride from Arenal Lake to Monteverde was enjoyable, I guess good company makes all the difference in the world! We were a small group, but we each found friends to enjoy Costa Rica with and time to be alone when we wanted. Even the flat tire was a good adventure ... our driver was EXCELLENT and I never felt unsafe (despite the twisty turns and narrow lanes leading easily to tip down thousands of feet into a valley). It was especially nice to end the trip at a "beach" beside/part of a national park/wildlife preserve. There was time to relax and enjoy the comforts of the 4 star El Parador as well as explore local haunts. I took many amazing photos and tried new things (zip line) and new foods (5 more fish species I will eat again). I am looking forward to a return trip to see more of this beautiful country and it's natural wonders.

BELIZE NEW YEAR’S 2007
As you may already know, I travel a lot and this is my second trip with your company. I took the Alaskan cruise, a year and a half ago with my two sisters. Both trips had excellent hosts and great destinations. This trip to Belize was the best New Years vacation I have ever taken. I usually go to Club Meds, but no more. You did a wonderful job and while I realize that you have little or no control over who signs up for the trip, it really was an excellent (and adventurous) group. Now that I am home, I have to unwind and catch my breath because you had it so well planned and kept us very busy. Both Bill and Roberto did an outstanding job and bent over backwards for the guests. You will definitely see me on future trips.

It was great, outstanding, exciting, interesting, fun, adventerous, and educational. Roberto made everything go so smoothly we had private everything. He made sure we avoided the cruise ship hords. We had our own inner tube time, canoe time, zip line time, and Mayan Ruin time.  Robert was the best!
Bill was so kind, curtious, and protective. I have never felt so safe in a 3rd world country. He made sure we were well taken care of. ……. He was a perfect host not too protective but enough that you felt safe. I would go on any trip that he is the host anywhere in the world. So let me know where in the world Bill will go next because until I run out of vacation or money I will go. I hope he goes to Turkey and Greece next year.

Just want to say thank you for an incredible trip.  Our merry band of travelers had a marvelous time from hiking in the Amazon jungle to elegant dinners in the old section of Quito to the animals of Galapagos.  I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.  Our guides were great every step of the way.  This has to rate among one of the best trips I have taken.

Greetings to all, 
Back to reality following a life changing experience in Ireland!  My journey home was good and I was so lucky to have traveled back with my new friends from So CA.  Even beyond coincidence, I was seated next to a great gal and the first person on the tour that I met at the airport in Dublin. So...Janet and I did not even notice the duration of the journey as we spoke of our tales in Ireland all week and other details. 
What an awesome experience the week has been and shared with such a great group of people!  Many, many thanks to all of you for your contributions to such a great time in Ireland.  If anyone got Micky's e-mail address, please forward it.  It would sure be great to find other tours that he is a guide for; perhaps, in Northern Ireland?? 
I am further blessed to have the day off today to further adjust to the time and surroundings at home!   I did manage to locate an Irish Pub yesterday nearby for some soup, soda bread, and a Guinness.  By the way, the Guinness does not taste the same as the Guinness in Dublin; but, did quench the desire until my next visit and it was a great way to segway back to reality along with a lot of sleep Saturday and Sunday.

The following are tidbits on the fun times everyone had on the first part of 2007 trips from each social escort that went…………

1)  Club Med- January 2007
I just returned from escorting the Singles Club Med Cancun Vacation where we had almost equal men and women. What a terrific trip! I had heard great things about Club Med, but had never wanted to go, because I thought I'd be bored staying in one place for an entire week. In the past I have preferred to go on cruises, because of the variety of ports visited. To my surprise, no problem! It was a gorgeous resort, lots of fun things to do, great group of people, great food. Most of our singles said they were looking forward to our Club Med for Singles next January, 2008, at Turks and Caicos, a beautiful island in the Caribbean.  -RICH

2)  Vietnam-Thailand - January 25-February 9, 2007
A group of fun loving, adventurous singles traveled to Vietnam and Thailand and had an interesting, fun, exciting time seeing and doing so much! From boating down the Mekong Delta, seeing how coconut candy was made manually and trying the exotic native fruits and meeting the local villagers. Lots of the (female!) travelers ordered alot of tailored-made silk clothes. In Chiang Mai we enjoyed the elephant show and elephant walk immensely, followed by an ox cart ride and a bamboo raft river ride. At Koh Samui for 3 days was a nice way to relax on the beautiful beach and to reflect on the wonderful, well planned trip and new friendships that were made. The countryside was so beautiful and the people so unbelievable friendly that we were comfortable with everything we did and everyone we met. We were so surprised how inexpensive everything was here and how modern and clean all the cities we visited appeared. The hotel accommodations and food were the best and Singles Travel did a wonderful job planning this trip for us. -GEORGINA

3)  Sunny Baja Cruise- April 2007
Great fun trip for all 46 singles, 50/50 men and ladies.  Social, warm and friendly singles mingled during our sail off celebration.  At our company's group dinner tables the chatter of interesting conversation was heard.  Nightly at dinner our group randomly rotated around and met and mingled with new men and ladies. Afterwards we enjoyed the ship show, adult comedy, casino and danced the night away.  Captain's night was another opportunity for our group to elegantly dress and of course get to know each other even better.  Ensenada brought new experiences for all.  The Mexican cooking experience was enjoyed by many.  Horse back riding in the back hills was absolutely gorgeous and many just relaxed and enjoyed a margarita or shopping in downtown.  A day at sea brought relaxation; opportunities to exercise on board from golf to the treadmill at the gym; the ships’ hot tub was designated as the group hangout; and some had pampering at the ships’ spa.  Our last night brought lots of hugs to all with just a 'See ya soon' at the next trip.  So many good memories made; onward to the next Singles Travel Company adventure! -LORETTA

4)  Costa Rica- April 2007
We are hearing great things back from the Costa Rica trip! Lots of activities were enjoyed by everyone from hiking and exploring to sky trekking in some of the most beautiful areas of Costa Rica. Visited Tabacon Hot Springs and the volcano, stayed at Monteverde Cloud forest area and Manual Antonio!  We hear the guide was excellent and so accommodating and Anne, the escort, said the accommodations were wonderful!  She has traveled on deluxe tour company trips and said she thought this was on parr with them -that's what we like hearing!   STAFF -STC

5)  Galapagos Cruise, Quito, Amazon Adventure - April 2007
"Just returned from an absolutely incredible fun-filled adventure trip to the Ecuadorean rain forest and Galapagos Islands.  The trip delivered much more than advertised or expected from the printed itinerary.  Giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, and so many more exotic mammals, birds, and plants to mention, AND a terrific group of  single travelers to share these marvelous sights with.  It seemed like each of us were experiencing a Nat'l Geo photo-op every 10 steps.  I wouldn't change any aspect of this trip and I strongly recommend that we continue to offer this "must do" once-in-a-lifetime adventure trip every year."     BILL
