night lights of Paris and so much more!

Day 1
Depart USA
You’re
on your way to Europe on your overnight flight to London!
Day 2 Arrive
London
After
checking into the Imperial Hotel the day is yours to experience
London at your leisure. Visit the many sites in this exciting
city! Maybe take the tube and see Buckingham Palace, the Tower of
London or Westminster Abbey. Take time for tea and scones! Tonight
a play or a pub? Or both!
Day 3 London
to Amsterdam
A warm
welcome from your guide this morning as we head for the White Cliffs
of Dover and our ferry crossing to France. We continue through
Belgium to the Netherlands and its liberal and energetic capital,
Amsterdam, for the evening. Take a scenic walk or a canal cruise to
admire the unique architecture along the canals. Tonight dinner
with your fellow travel companions. After dinner a chance to explore
this unique city and its amazing nightlife. (D)
Day 4
Amsterdam to Rhine Valley
Use your free time to visit Anne Frank’s House or the Van Gogh
Museum and later we cross the German border and head for the
stunning Rhine Valley with its vineyards and castles. Dinner again
with your fellow travel companions (maybe try some Rhine Riesling
wine) and maybe a night on the town? (B,D)
Day 5
Rhine Valley to Munich
This
morning learn how beersteins are crafted before traveling to the
capital of Bavaria, Munich. Our orientation tour takes in the
Glockenspiel and then we have time to visit a traditional beer hall
in Munich for some authentic German beer that this country is famous
for! (B)
Day 6
Munich to Venice
Spectacular mountain scenery as we head south through Austria,
through the Brenner Pass and cross the border into Italy for our two
nights stay on the mainland of Venice. Enjoy
dinner together tonight! (B,D)
Day 7
Venice Sightseeing
A short boat ride takes us
into the historical centre of Venice to see St Mark’s Square, the
Bridge of Sighs and the Doges’ Palace. Ample time to wander the
bustling and fascinating streets, see the skill required to create
local crafts such as Venetian glass and fine lace and visit one of
the many amazing museums. Why not treat yourself to a famous gondola
ride and evening meal with your fellow travelers as a perfect end to
your Venetian experience? (B)
Day 8
Venice to Lucerne
A
spectacular alpine drive takes us
toward the towering Alps and the vast serene lakes of
Switzerland. Lakeside
medieval Lucerne awaits with its cobbled streets,
Chapel Bridge,
Lion monument and plentiful shopping opportunities. After dinner
together, maybe a cruise on Lake Lucerne….!? (B,D)
Day 9
Lucerne to Paris
We
drive through the beautiful French countryside and Burgundy, past
Dijon’s vineyards, as we head for the ‘City of Lights’- Paris! Enjoy
a first view of the sights of this spectacular city! Dinner is
included tonight with your travel companions. After dinner, we have
the evening tour of Paris’s lit monuments. Afterwards, why not take
time to walk through the Latin Quarter where the nightlife of Paris
abounds. (B,D)
Day 10
Paris Sightseeing
Visit a French perfume
house and then take the opportunity to visit some of the most
celebrated icons of Europe. The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Nôtre Dame,
Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées all await your arrival!
In the afternoon, you have time to stroll by the Seine, visit a few
museums, or walk down the Champs Elysées. Tonight, why not complete
your Parisian experience with
a French meal and a famous Parisian cabaret? You’ll love Paris!

Day 11
Paris
This morning your scheduled tour ends at your
hotel. After breakfast there will be a transfer for you to Paris
CDG Airport (estimated arrival at 10am) or, alternatively, you could
choose to take a complimentary transfer back to central London with
your driver and tour manager if flying out of London suits you
better. You will arrive in London early evening where you can also
choose to extend your stay at either the Imperial or Royal National
Hotels. (B)
(NB. The tour price does not include a night
in London at the end of your tour. But extra nights can be added for
as little as $100.00 per person per night in a shared double room.)

Transfers
are not included on arrival. You may purchase a $10.00
voucher for the subway (tube) if you are flying into and out
of Heathrow. If arriving into or out of Gatwick in London
you can purchase a transfer for $42 one way that gets you to
Victoria Station and then onto the hotel. Your departure
from Paris includes a complimentary transfer to the Paris
airport (CDG) by 10am-your flight must be departing after
twelve noon at least, allowing more time is preferable. We
need your flight schedule as soon as you get it. If going
back to London, you’ll need to stay overnight in London and
the transfer to the airport is not included.
Airfare
is additional. We can help or you can check online with the
different airlines. Fares are based on availability at time
of booking. You fly into London but may fly home from Paris
or London (you’ll need a post night in London).
Travel
Insurance-
$109.00. Pay
for your travel insurance with your deposit and you receive
“Any-Reason” insurance (in the form of travel certificates
to be used within a year with the tour operator) allowing
you to cancel for any reason up to 48 hours prior to your
trip. Double your medical coverage and gain terrorism
coverage for only $35.00 additional per person.
Travel Insurance is highly
recommended. Insurance is not refundable. Does not include
air arrangements unless air/land package is booked by our
tour operator.

Fine Print—European Magic, 2008
Your payment for a reservation on this trip
constitutes consent and acknowledgement of all the provisions in
this Fine Print listed below and in the Singles Travel Company
General Terms and Conditions. Please make sure you read both of
these important pieces of information and call us with any
questions. A non-refundable deposit of
$200.00 (plus travel insurance if you want it) is due with
your reservation. Final payment is due 60 days prior
to departure date. Credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) or
checks (made payable to Travel Advisors of Los Gatos) are accepted.
Cancellation Fees and Refunds All cancellations must be
in writing. Cancellation Fees as follows: Regardless of when you
cancel, there will be a charge from Singles Travel Company of $50 on
your credit card for your cancellation plus the following
cancellation fees: Insurance is non-refundable.

When the percentage cancellation fee is less than the
tour deposit, the cancellation fee will equal loss of the deposit.
No refunds on unused portions of the tour. A fee of $30 per
transaction may be charged for any alteration or revision made to a
reservation. Cancellation fees also apply to additional
accommodations reserved prior to and after the tour booked with the
tour operator of the trip. Due to air carrier guidelines, you may
be charged up to a $200 penalty if you cancel your air booked with
the tour operator within 120 days of departure. After airline
tickets are issued, airline cancellations are per the airline’s
policy/ and or the tour operator if purchased through the tour
operator and are usually non-refundable.
Travel Insurance is highly recommended-please consider the purchase
of it carefully.
