nights each in London, Paris, Zermatt, Venice, and Rome and stay in
the Swiss Alps in between!
Also see Montreux, Switzerland and view the
beautiful Alps, stay on the lake at Lake Maggiore, and visit
Florence as you make your way south from London, England, through
the heart of Europe- France and Switzerland, and into Italy where
you fly home from Rome!
Guided sightseeing includes visits to St. Paul’s in
London, to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, to St.
Mark’s Basilica and the Doges’ Palace with its Bridge of Sighs in
Venice, to Michelangelo’s David in Florence, and to the Colosseum,
the Roman Forum, St. Peter’s, and the Sistine Chapel in Rome. An
overnight stay in Montreux, Switzerland, of festival fame plus a
two-night stay in car-free Zermatt, at the foot of the Matterhorn,
allows you a nice break. Other features are an exciting ride on the
high-speed Eurostar train from London to Paris, a visit to Lord
Byron’s Chillon Castle, a spectacular ride over the Simplon Pass in
Switzerland, and an overnight stay in the elegant town of Stresa at
Lake Maggiore. A dream-vacation!

Day 1, July 5
Fly to Europe
Board your
overnight transatlantic flight on your way to London!
Day 2, July 6
Arrival in London, England
Arrive into London
and after getting settled you can start exploring this fantastic
city! A local host will be available to help you make the most of
your stay.
Day 3, July 7
London
After a
hearty English breakfast, morning sightseeing with a professional
London guide includes all the famous landmarks: Knightsbridge with
Harrods, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben beside the River
Thames, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. Highlights are a
visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Changing of the Guard at
Buckingham Palace (if held). Your afternoon is free for an optional
excursion to the Tower of London. An evening cruise on the River
Thames might also be fun and the night life in London is exciting!

Day 4, July 8
London-Paris, France
Meet your Tour Director and traveling companions after breakfast and
transfer to the railway station to board the Eurostar train to
Paris, the splendid capital of a beautiful country. Tonight join
your Tour Director for a toast to a great vacation ahead before
joining new friends from the group for dinner and the excitement of
an evening in Paris…the City of Light! (FB)
Day 5,
July 9 Paris
Discover the world
capital of chic and style with a local guide and admire its most
famous sights: Arc de Triomphe, Opera, Madeleine, Louvre, and the
Champs-Elysees. For a panoramic view take the elevator to the
second floor of the Eiffel Tower.
An
optional excursion to the baroque Palace of Versailles is available.
Tonight a lively cabaret show might be just the way to spend the
evening. (BB)
Day 6, July 10
Paris-Montreux, Switzerland
Today, enjoy
a comfortable drive past Fontainebleau Forest and the vineyards of
Burgundy. Turn east towards the Swiss Alps and arrive in Montreux,
beautifully situated at Lake Geneva, and take a picture of the
Festival Hall. (BB)
Day 7, July 11
Montreux-Chillon-Zermatt
This
morning’s highlight is a guided visit to Chillon Castle. Then
continue through the vineyards and apricot groves of the lower Rhone
Valley to Tasch, where you board a mountain train to climb the last
few miles up to Zermatt, a picturesque cluster of rustic chalets
beneath the Matterhorn. (BB)
Day 8, July 12
At Leisure in Zermatt
A full day
at leisure to explore the town on your own with friends from the
group, or join an exciting optional ride on Europe’s highest
rack-railway to 10,272-foot Gornergrat for a closer view of the
Matterhorn. Tonight is your chance to try out local specialties.

Day 9, July 13
Zermatt-Lake Maggiore,
Italy
Today enjoy a spectacular
drive across the lofty Simplon Pass to the beautiful Lake Maggiore.
Upon arrival stop in the elegant town of Stresa to explore its
little streets before checking into your lakeside hotel. (BB)
Day 10, July 14
Lake Maggiore-Venice
In the morning an optional
excursion is available to the enchanting Isola Bella. Then journey
past Milan to Venice, a glittering maze of islands, canals, and
bridges and you’ll enter in style by private boat to this fabulous
city. (BB)
Day 11, July 15
Venice
Today, the
highlights of your walking tour in Venice are St. Mark’s Square and
the Byzantine Basilica, lavish Doges’ Palace, and the Bridge of
Sighs. Also watch skilled Venetian Glass Blowers fashion their
delicate objects in an age-old traditional manner. Then enjoy Venice
at your own pace or join an optional gondola ride.

Day 12, July 16
Venice-Florence
After breakfast,
we have a morning drive through the Apennine Hills to Tuscany. In
Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, follow your local guide to
visit the Academy of Fine Arts with Michelangelo’s celebrated David,
the magnificent Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s
heavy bronze “Gate of Paradise,”and then sculpture-studded Signoria
Square. There will be time to explore on your own to soak up the
timeless beauty of the city and shop for florentine leather goods
and gold jewelry.
Enjoy dinner tonight with the

In the morning enjoy views of
the vine and olive-clad Tuscan hills, home of the popular Chianti
wines, on your way to the Eternal City-Rome. Upon arrival
meet your local guide and visit the Colosseum and the Roman Forum,
where Roman Legions marched in triumph. (BB)
Day 14, July 18
Rome
Sightseeing with
your local guide starts early today with a visit to the Vatican
Museums and Sistine Chapel, world famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling
paintings including The Last Judgement. Continue to
monumental St. Peter’s Square and Basilica. Then time for
independent activities at your leisure.
Tonight maybe an
optional farewell dinner at a local restaurant with the group for
some great Italian food and wine! (BB)
Day 15, July 19
Fly Home
Time to say
good-bye to your fellow travelers as your homebound flight
arrives the same day. (BB)

into London and out of Rome.
Airport transfers
are $20 each way ($40 roundtrip).
You must arrive into London between 6am-9pm or Gatwick
between 6am-3pm. Any time is okay out of Rome at the end of
the tour, but must be on the last day of the tour.

Travel/Trip Cancellation insurance is highly
recommended. Ask about Travel Protection Plus for
an
additional $30. This additional Benefit allows you to
cancel your vacation up to 24 hours (or the prior business
day, whichever is farther out) before your scheduled
departure for any reason not covered by the travel
protection plans provisions. With this Protection Plus
policy you will be reimbursed for the cancellation penalties
with travel vouchers to be used within a year with the tour
operator. You must purchase with your deposit if you want a
waiver for pre-existing conditions and Travel Protection
Plus. Insurance is not refundable. Your air is not covered
under this policy.

Your
payment for a reservation on this trip constitutes consent and
acknowledgement of all the provisions in this Fine Print listed
below and in the Singles Travel Company General Terms and

Payments:
A non-refundable
deposit of $200.00 is due with your reservation and
your insurance is due also if you want to purchase it. Full and
final payments are due 70 days prior to departure date. Credit
cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) and /or
checks (payable to Travel Advisors) are accepted.
Cancellation Fees and

All cancellations must be
in writing. Regardless of when you cancel there will be a charge
from Singles Travel Company of $50. Also insurance is
non-refundable.
